What is node controller for parking guidance system?

Node Controller is the middle-layer regional collection hardware in three-tier architecture of parking guidance system (PGS). Positioned between various front-end parking detectors and upper-level central controller (or PGS-SW software), it acts as a regional bridge.

It is responsible for collecting real-time parking-bay status data from all detectors within one single zone or floor. It conducts local data pre-processing, fault diagnosis of connected terminal devices, then forwards aggregated zone-level data upward. For small-size parking projects, node controller can directly connect to PGS-SW software without central controller. For large multi-zone garages, multiple node controllers report data to central controller for unified global management.
