What is Camera Detector for Parking Guidance System?

Camera detector (also known as camera-based video detector) is a vision-driven front-end sensing hardware for parking guidance system. Equipped with high-definition camera module, built-in AI image processing chip and red-green LED status indicator, it analyzes real-time video frames via embedded computer vision algorithm to judge whether parking bays are vacant or occupied.

Different from ultrasonic detectors (integrated detector and split detector package) which adopt ultrasonic echo detection, one camera detector can monitor multiple adjacent parking bays simultaneously, instead of one sensor only for single parking bay.
